In recent days, wherever the television station, we always provided with news about Manohara. The name of Manohara becomes very popular because of her case with Tengku Fakhri who is a Prince from Klantan Kingdom, Malaysia. Tengku Fakhri who is actually her official husband, accused for kidnapping and rapping Manohara. This story was made up by Indonesian mass media while the bad relationship between Indonesia and Malaysia since long time ago.

Juana’s character analytic in the novel The Pearl

Juana, one of the major characters in The Pearl, is the wife of Kino who appear always with her husband along the story. She is more educated, religious, and practically than Kino. We can see that she was religious when her son, coyotito, was stung by scorpion. At that time, she kept silent than used her emotion to kill the scorpion. She made a prayer and give her son’s destiny to the god although Kino want to save his son by killing the scorpion, at the result, gave bad impact for Coyotito. Di sini saya publish soal dan jawaban saya untuk ujian tengah semester mata kuliah pengkajian prosa Inggris. Jadi formatnya adalah ada sebuah cerpen dengan judul “the woman’s rose” karya olive shreiner yang harus dianalisis untuk kemudian digunakan untuk menjawab beberapa pertanyaan. In recent days, we hear some news about Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), an institution which rule and guide Muslim society in Indonesia, create an instruction (fatwa) that facebook is forbidden for Muslim. They argue that facebook has created many bad impacts such adultery, free sex intercourse, and so on. If we see from the impacts, as soon all of us would agree that those are some society diseases which must be avoided. Why did Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono choose Budiono for his Vice President?

Several days before the limit for registering President and vice president candidate 2009, Susilo Bambang Yudoyono as President Candidate from Demokrat party made a controversial decision by choosing Budiono as his Vice President candidate. Some of alliance parties of demokrat such PKS (Partai Keadilan Sejahtera) and PAN (Partai Amanat Nasional) assumes that Budiono is not a right man to accompany Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono’s Vice President 2009.
